Guides worked extremely hard in great spirits; the business has good equipment; the Aussie did a thorough job of training and laying out expectations before embarking and Alex, our personal guide was a veritable encyclopedia of flora, fauna and area history - plus a really weird sense of humor (just kidding). And last but not least, this trip probably has the biggest and most concentrated sets of waves in summertime Oregon rafting."

I decided to go with Momentum having never heard of them so really it was on a whim and truthfully now that I have rafted with Pete I feel there is no where else to go. I felt safe because he was so very present with us and taught us the details of safety and truthfully we needed it because WOW the upper Klamath is a wild one with the greatest rapid runs and whitewater I have yet experienced before. I have rafted in many places but this was truly the best! I know, I know Pete.. Chile is next! Oh and let me not forget the great "Organic" food that Pete and Rachel supplied and prepared for us. Momentum is one of a kind that I highly recommend for your rafting pleasures!"
  • "We had a wonderful two-day trip on the Upper Klamath; you have a tremendous staff in Alex, Rachel, and Derrick! They were wonderful; what a great team! Alex guided our raft and we appreciated his sharing the local history of the region. The girls, two 16 year olds, enjoyed the Captain Jack story and were even recalling points of the Sat evening discussion revolving around the rivers, dams, fishing industry, Indian rights etc. We all decided that we would have liked for Alex to be our 6th grade teacher. We appreciate his teaching passion; don't stop. Alex will be talked about in future camps as "an influential teacher" (this is a good thing). We also enjoyed Rachel's company, her world-wide travel experiences are tremendous and she's great fun. What can we say about Derrick, the back-bone of the trip. We were never hungry, my goodness the snacks and meals were fantastic. Also, a very interesting and charming person. And a wonderful van driver! We greatly appreciated the maturity of your staff; they were professional, they were fun, they were engaging and interesting. We had a fantastic two days on the river. We have and will continue to recommend your company and staff to family and friends considering an "adrenaline" filled vacation. Thank you so much.
