“What just might be the best commercial rafting company in North America. The trips are spectacular beyond description, the guides are the best of the best, the food is incomparable, and the customers are treated like royalty.”
To all our past and present guests – Thank You! At the end of every year we sift through the emails and the photos from all of you and it never fails to give us goose bumps, it never fails to make us happy (and a little sad), and it never fails to remind us of the power and beauty of our wild places and, even more importantly, of the unique and remarkable people we are lucky enough to spend time with on the river every season.
So, with your continued support, wonderful personalities, and adventurous spirits we will continue to keep and attract the best guides anywhere. We will continue to reshape the way river travel is run and to work towards setting the standard in trip quality and environmental responsibility. And we will continue to run rivers and add adventures that are the best in their class and that are off the beaten path.
To all past and present guests a huge –
“THANK YOU!”

Upper Klamath Day Trips
5"Simon,
Now that we are back in the UK, I wanted to say thank you for making our one-day trip down the Upper Klamath a highlight of our stay in the USA. My wife, our 14-year-old son and I, all enjoyed it immensely. Firstly, it's a great river with dramatic sections, stunning scenery and lots of wildlife; there is also a good flow even in August: I still find it hard to believe that in the calm sections between the rapids the river visibly slopes downhill. Secondly your organisation is very professional, but also personal, with pre-trip confirmatory e-mails and a pickup from our campsite that was bang on time. But most importantly, more than an experienced guide and an excellent raft-Captain, your knowledge of the area and enthusiasm for the experience was infectious and added hugely to the overall enjoyment. This was, as billed, an exhilarating wilderness experience not a theme park ride which we will all remember for many years to come. Thanks again to you and all at Momentum. And thanks for finding such good companion rafters too.
Best wishes,
John" - John

5"Thank you Mara, as for myself, that was the most fun I have ever had rafting! I think everyone else already knew what to expect... I however had only experienced the mellow (seems completely mellow now) Rogue and Illinois rivers.
I will definitely be back next year!
Thanks for an awesome time!

5"We just returned from a 2-day rafting/camping trip with Momentum. Two fathers, two twelve-yr-old boys. We were a bit nervous about having our athletic but small boys do Class 4 rapids, but Anthony, Heather, and Derek did an absolutely awesome job. Everyone had a great time and no one went swimming at an inappropriate time. We highly recommend this outfit and Anthony as a guide. "
Rogue River 1/2 Day
5"Hello Pete,
Thank you to the whole of Momentum for organizing a splendid river adventure. My son, husband and I returned Sunday from the Rogue Wilderness Lodge trip and it was the highlight of our summer. My son is turning 15 this fall and is athletic and adventurous by nature but had no idea how much fun and challenge he was going to have. He smiled the entire trip, as did Phillip and I.
The beauty of the Rogue and the Siskiyou Mountains was a feast for the senses. We saw animal life that we'd hoped to see (bear, mink, fox, otters, orange crayfish, water turtles, bald eagles, osprey) that we just don't have in Palo Alto, California. The white water was terrific for beginners (quickly turned intermedieates) and provided extended excitement and challenge for Phillip and Chris particularly when they learned to surf. Once they slipped into the inflatables (first day) they never returned to the raft. The lodges were the perfect choice for us, and we loved both of them for different reasons. If a person can't love Paradise, then life really is hopeless. The lodge was beautiful and spacious itself but it wasn't just the comfortable accommodations that made it special - the entire property cradled us in it's serene and natural beauty and provided a dreamy ending to a dreamy day.
Let me gush about your guides for a moment. Alan led the trip and
Mike guided our supply boat. They are two of the most wonderful
mentors we could have hoped to lead us on the river. Alan's knowledge is deep and wide; his demeanor matched the serenity of the surroundings which caused us to pay attention to both the wilderness history and the rules he imparted while on his boat. He was not just a guide, he was a wonderful teacher and successfully shared his palpable love of this stretch of the Rogue. I'd even go so far as to say he possessed a little magic about him: twice he got us on hikes up tributaries that ended in these river pools the likes of which you see in National Geographic, and he did so just before other bigger groups arrived. We came upon these pools as if we were the only humans in
the region which added a special "just for you" quality to the hikes.
Mike could not have been more delightful. He too was profoundly knowledgeable. His ease, grace, humor, and willingness to share his
love of rafting captured our imaginations for hours. Chris decided
he looked like the movie character, Wolverine, and he was given this moniker for our trip.
Your care and attention to our meals was evident and greatly appreciated. Your thoughtful approach to reducing our impact on the wilderness is deeply appreciated and respected. It's better than nice knowing we may have had little negative impact on the river. Your drivers at the take out were courteous and again, engaging. Oh yes, I realize you cannot predict what groups will get along when paired together for three days - sometimes it works and sometimes not. Well, we loved the Seymour family and all eight of us got on beautifully which of course added to the expansive joy experienced by all.
From my initial contact with your company throughout our time with you, my/our experience was superlative. We have been and will continue telling everyone we come into contact with what a special encounter we had and to investigate Momentum.
Thank you so very much.
fondly,
rpm

5"We had the fantastic family experience of rafting the Upper Klamath with the Momentum Company and cannot believe how truly skilled, experienced, and absolutely wonderful the experience was for all 16 of us. We've rafted quite a few times in the past and this was better than all the others put together. Our guides were so fun and knowledgeable. Impossible to top this!"

5"Hi Kelly,
Well, we also had a terrific trip. Just a moment ago we were telling about it to a friend, how unique it was, the river, camping near the river, and - not to forget - the frontier road trip (is Cathy already over it?).
We also liked the people in the group very much. Unfortunately we didn't exchange mail-adresses.
We will recommend your business to anyone who considers rafting in the west!

Rogue River 1/2 Day
5"We had a GREAT trip down the Rogue with Robyn, Mara, and Mike - they were awesome! I wish all the boys and their girlfriends had been able to come along. We talked a lot about further trips, but not sure if we're not too picky - duckies a must, wetsuits yuck! and needs to be 5-6 days (4 days was too short!). Any ideas for next year? Maybe if we plan it enough in advance everyone can come. Has to be after the first week of June because our youngest is graduating from high school and probably won't want to miss it!
Thanks again for an outrageous trip - food was great, people were great, service was great, rafting was great...

5"We had a wonderful Rogue trip in August with Anthony while visiting Oregon Shakespeaer Festival. Excellent logistics with Medford pick-up right at our hotel. I recommend Momentum staff, Anthony, and this trip as a perfect add-on to any summer visit to the Ashalnd festival. The Petersens "
Lower Klamath River Rafting
5"Honestly, the trip was everything we hoped for, and more. The company was extremely nice and gave our small graduating class a group discount and beyond competent. The guides were experts, the food was amazing (entirely Organic, and locally sourced...practically gourmet), and the rafting itself was exhilarating. Even the long bus ride before the rafting trip was made as fun as possible, thanks to the guides engaging with us. I have no complaints. This trip was perfect."

5"Thanks for a great time!
Here's a review I just posted on Yelp and TripAdvisor along with 5 star rating;
I just returned from a fantastic 2 day trip run by MRE on the Upper Klamath near Ashland. They picked us up at our hotel. Guides were great-- cheerful, hard-working, knowledgeable, experienced. They did all the heavy-lifting, food prep, etc. Rapids were thrilling, food was great, pace was just right. A two-day vacation felt like four days.
Last year I went with MRE on a three day rafting trip on the Lower Klamath. It was superb and included a fantastic side-trip hike up a stream to some hidden falls. They're a great company!

We were provided with a lovely lunch as well. We will be talking about this trip for years to come. We also have to mention Dave our driver, who provided us with safe travels and entertainment along the way. Momentum is the way to go!!!!"
